Our brief was to create a low maintenance paved garden, with heat-tolerant planting that is animal friendly. Planting:
The planting included draught tolerant plants such as Verbena bonariensis, Crocosmia, Sedums, Lavandula, Hibiscus and Trachelospermum jasminoides variegatum all of which are easy to grow and look after. We planted grasses for the clientÂ’s cats to enjoy.
The plants were all sourced by Pantiles to the clients specification.

Watering system:
Installing an automatic watering system results in a very low maintenance garden. It allows each section of the garden to be controlled by computer, giving each section the correct amount of water, and taking the guesswork out of watering, therefore freeing up the clientÂ’s time to enjoy the garden.

Finishing touches:
* Subtle garden lighting has been used to add another dimension to the garden. When lit in the evenings, it creates a fantastic wow factor, and can be viewed from the living room.
* The water feature is simple yet effective. As it incorporates lighting, it reflects the water gracefully and helps to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
