Fan trained fruit trees are growing onto the brick panels of the wall, and they form the backbone of the planting scheme together with architectural foliage plants, like Phormiums and Yuccas. Shrubs with a softer appearance break up the large areas, and add interest to the composition.

Colour is the other main ingredient, with soft pastel shades to cool the south facing setting, and splashes of vibrant reds and yellows to give an edge to the theme.

Paving within gravel is placed so as to give access to various plants for maintenance purposes and allow a close up view wondering at the different shapes and shades. The journey leads to a bench placed before the wall inviting one to sit and admire the garden.

A bubbling water feature provides both movement and sound whilst travelling amongst the plants.
