Pantiles and the above device is the registered trademark of Pantiles Nurseries Limited, Almners Road, Lyne, Chertsey, Surrey KT16 0BJ. Pantiles has traded for over 20 years from its nursery at the above address and it is entitled to the goodwill and reputation in the “Pantiles” name.

It has come to our attention that an organisation with a similar name to ours has been leafleting homes in the Chertsey/Weybridge area. This organisation calls itself “PAN-TILES” and claims to be represented by one or more persons using the name “John Barnes” and claiming to trade from Lowfield Nurseries, Lyne Crossing Road, Lyne, Surrey KT16 0AT.

This “PAN-TILES” has no connection of any sort with us and the users have no right to use our name.

We therefore urge all our customers to check very carefully with whom they are dealing before responding to any cold calling or leafleting, and certainly before making any commitment to have work done.

• We are exclusively based at Almners Road, Lyne, Surrey KT16 0BJ. We have had some 25 years’ experience in garden design and landscaping.
• We are vouched members of BALI (The British Association of Landscaping Industries) and the APL (Association of Professional Landscapers) and observe their standards and codes. We do not do business by “gentleman’s agreement” and all our dealings with our customers have to be confirmed in writing. Our customers are our first priority, and all our work is guaranteed.
• Our main switchboard number is 01932 872195. We do not operate off mobile telephones to take orders.
• We NEVER cold call: we only respond to direct enquiries made by our customers or potential customers who call the above number or dedicated departmental numbers operating off the switchboard for those who are already aware of them through their past dealings with us.
• Our staff, when on our business, always drive liveried vehicles carrying the Pantiles name and wear the Pantiles uniform with our distinctive blue and white tree logo.
• If you have any suspicions about the identity of a contractor claiming to be from us, please call either our reception on 01932 872195 to check, or contact Surrey Trading Standards on 08456 009 009.
• If in any doubt, we recommend you DO NOT allow contractors calling themselves “Pantiles” access to your property and above all do not enter into any oral agreement with any person using the “Pantiles” name.
